These are so far all test posts to get the style setup for pictures/art.

They  may have to be deleted.  The syllabus says 12 photos.  So I dunno.
I got lucky enough to catch the eclipse last summer.  I just love how you can see the rays of light.  In the dark pic you can actually see the dark side of the moon, lit only by the reflection off the Pacific Ocean:

Some scenery photos, two at schjool.

I'm sure it can be true in painting, but certain accidentally out of focus, over-exposed, or even blurry, photos can have an amazing quality you wouldn't have captured otherwise.  Here are examples I've taken:

Over-exposure:
Soft Focus:

Motion Blur:

Motion blur is my favorite way to make an image jump off the screen.  The ones I like best have some blur, and some focus.  This photo I took at a fashion show in LA shows her hair and shoes blurred slightly, but not the rest of her.  It gives the illusion of movement:
This is one of my older photographs and, though often asked, no, it is not photoshopped.  It's a picture of a park entrance.  Above it are the stars in an oddly blue night sky with the moon.  The colors remind me a bit of "A Starry Night" by Van Gogh.
